The sound of the Gibson ES-125 is outstanding. Getting a good sound is super easy since it sounds amazing to begin with and you don't need to fiddle around much at all with the one pick up. Since it's only got one pick up it's also really easy to control as there's almost nothing to it. The particular one that I've used was from the early 50's I believe. It's really easy to play, especially for rhythm parts. Playing the Gibson ES-125 is an absolute pleasure as it's got a great feel. It's got a simple configuration with controls for volume and tone for the single pick up that it's got. It has a single P-90 pick up and was made in the USA as far as I can tell. This guitar is still popular today as it's one of the most popular models from the time period. ![]() The Gibson ES-125 is a hollow body, archtop electric guitar from the 1940's and 1950's.
